Digital Communication Technology
The Digital Communication Technology (DCT) pathway requires students to apply the skills and tools of digital designers used in graphic design, pixel-based imagery manipulation, HTML coding, digital video production, vector image manipulation, digital illustration, and digital publishing. Students utilize strategies to solve open-ended problems while learning how to apply technical skills, creative skills, industry knowledge, documentation techniques, and processes using modern, industry-leading technology and software.
Client-based learning experiences and industry-mentored projects introduce students to a wide array of related careers in public relations, marketing, web and digital communications and printing.
Business Management & Administration
NAF Academy of Business Information Management
The NAF Academy of Business Information & Management (AOBIM) program is a three (3) credit program of study that
introduces students to the skills needed to plan, organize, direct, and evaluate business functions essential to efficient
and productive business operations through courses focusing on entrepreneurship, global and domestic economics,
information technology, customer service and ethics. Students gain critical career knowledge through a series of work-based learning activities that are conducted in school, as well as outside the classroom, and a 120-hour paid summer internship. Completion of the program is validated with a NAFTrack Certification, NAF’s student certification assessment system. AOBIM courses introduce students to a wide array of careers such as general and operations managers, purchasing managers, business operations specialists, and computer information system managers.

The Delaware Teacher Academy program of study is a dynamic opportunity for high school students to explore careers in early childhood, elementary, and secondary education. The program emphasizes the importance of equity, inclusion, and belonging while fostering a strong pipeline of rising education professionals committed to serving diverse student populations. Through a combination of classroom instruction, industry-related credentialing, and hands-on work-based learning experiences, such as field observations, teaching internships, and early college credit opportunities, students develop the knowledge, skills, and cultural competencies essential for today’s education professionals. Whether a student dreams of becoming a teacher, counselor, support services professional, or educational leader, the Teacher Academy offers a strong foundation for success in postsecondary education and beyond—all while making a positive impact in their communities.

NAF Academy of Finance
The NAF Academy of Finance (AOF) pathway is a three (3) course Career & Technical Education (CTE) program that engages students with the world of financial services by focusing on banking and credit, financial planning, accounting, and insurance. Students gain career knowledge through a series of work-based learning activities that are conducted in school and outside of the classroom, and a 120-hour paid summer internship. Completion of the program is validated with a NAFTrack Certification, NAF’s student certification assessment system.
AOF courses introduce students to a wide array of careers such as personal financial advisor, tax preparation specialist, accountant, financial analyst, loan officer, account representative, insurance agent, and claims representative.

Marketing Today! (MT) program of study is a three (3) course Career and Technical Education (CTE) program that engages students with the world of marketing services by focusing on how marketing is evolving in the digital age and how companies can be successful by implementing marketing strategies.

The Project Lead the Way (PLTW) Biomedical Science pathway engages students in open-ended problem solving where students study the concepts of human medicine, physiology, genetics, microbiology, and public health.
