Through a combination of classroom instruction, industry-related credentialing, and hands-on work-based learning experiences, such as field observations, teaching internships, and early college credit opportunities, students develop the knowledge, skills, and cultural competencies essential for today’s education professionals. Whether a student dreams of becoming a teacher, counselor, support services professional, or educational leader, the Teacher Academy offers a strong foundation for success in postsecondary education and beyond—all while making a positive impact in their communities.
