Together, we are shaping the future workforce of Delaware, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving economic growth. Our partner’s involvement not only benefits students but also strengthens the community by cultivating a skilled, prepared, and motivated workforce.
Our business and community partners play a crucial role in preparing students for successful careers and lifelong learning. By partnering with Delaware Pathways, these businesses and organizations help bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world experience, ensuring that our students are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to thrive in today’s dynamic workforce.
Work-based learning (WBL) is a progressive approach to bridging the work-skills gap between school and high-demand, high-skill careers in Delaware. Through structured employer engagement in workplace settings, students build upon their classroom-based instruction, developing and strengthening both technical and employability skills in preparation for their future careers. Work-based learning experiences are an integral part of any CTE program of study and represent a continuum of opportunities that prepare students for postsecondary education and careers.
